PC's for kids in CR

Does anyone have any info on the initiative to give books/casino's old PC's to schools/kids in CR?

I tried sending a mail to christinecrawford@tamira.com however it bounced back with user unknown.

Does anyone have the contact details for whoever is co-ordinating this down here? We are looking to contribute.

I have a very close friend who works in possibly one of the poorest and more problematic schools here in Costa Rica. Im sure they could use any computers, I dont even know if they have such but they couldnt hurt them one bit.

Let me talk to her and see if something can be arranged.

waw, I just talked to her, she said it would really be appreciated, they do have a computer lab with a few computers but they would really benefit from any donation. The school is called Rincon Grande de Pavas, its open till the 23rd of decmber and she said we could get some sort of letter from the principal (to prove that we're not stealing the PCs or anything funny

)

In case you dont know, the school is located in the western part of pavas, down the road from the American Embassy. Its a very very problematic area, specially filled with drugs and violence.

If you're interested in making such a donation, please let me know or advise as to what I should do next.
